It's been awhile since posting. I have been adjusting to my new environment. We have seen many patients for the last 2 weeks. I think we have done about 10 operations and have seen many more patients in the trauma bays. Most of the casualties are ANA (Afghan National Army), and ANP (Afghan National Police) and Polish Army. We share this FOB with the Polish Army. They have a clinic that joins ours and work with us some. The first picture is of the building we live in. The others are some shots of the inside of the FST. Since we are in Afghanistan, you will notice some of the medical personnel with weapons. It's kindof wierd to be a medical professional and carry a weapon. But, that is the reality of things over here.
